On the thrift side, every piece is hand-picked from Canadian homes, honestly described (any wear or flaws noted and priced accordingly), and ready to be loved again in another Canadian home. On the handmade side, we partner directly with Canadian makers — jewelry designers, soap makers, crocheters, and more.

It started as a small Etsy jewelry shop four years ago. Now it's growing into something bigger: a one-stop shop where you can shop local in Canada without leaving your couch.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Sara! Five years ago, I started making handmade jewelry at my kitchen table in Edmonton. I loved creating — but I quickly learned the business side is a full-time job of its own. Websites, packaging, shipping, post office runs, the DMs at midnight. It can swallow your creative time whole.

And I kept thinking — how many talented Canadian makers are stuck in that same spot? Incredible products, but no hours left (or desire) to run the business machine behind them. So I built the thing I wished existed.

The Blinged Up Alpaca runs on two promises:

• For makers: Canadian creators should be free to just create. I handle the website, listings, sales, shipping, and customer service — because I've lived the business side — so makers can spend their energy where it belongs: making beautiful things.
• For thrift lovers: to find quality pre-loved pieces from Canadian homes and keep them in Canadian homes — honestly described, fairly priced, and ready to be loved again.
